Radie Peat is, without a doubt, one of Ireland’s most influential and revered vocalists thanks to her work with Lankum and ØXN, but above all for the strength of her voice and her ability to convey feelings.
In his version of the traditional song “Still I Love Him”, a single released by Rough Trade, he brings strength and emotion to a piece that talks about romantic relationships and how we approach them. Peat decided to cover this song after his musical partner John Francis Flynn found it in the Irish Traditional Music Archives under the name “True Love”.
Now we will have to wait for the artist’s next steps to see what we can expect in the coming months, although it has already been confirmed that she will offer three concerts under her name in London and Dublin (November 3 and 20, respectively) and Amsterdam (January 31, 2027).
