INNMIR reinterprets nothing less than the classic “John Boy Fan Club”, one of the most popular songs among Barcelonans Love Of Lesbianwhich in your hands becomes an ideal piece for the dance floor.
Almost two decades after its release, INNMIR dares to give new forms to one of the great Love Of Lesbian classics, “John Boy Fan Club”, with a version that respects the emotional essence of the song while transferring it to its own sound universe: electronics, dance and the energy of festivals. This new reinterpretation of the Valencian artist, released by the Vanana Records label, is now available on all digital platforms.
In the words of the Valencian, this adaptation is “a tribute to what Love Of Lesbian has meant in my life. It was one of the bands that made me start listening to indie music and their songs and live shows have saved me so many times that, when they announced that they were saying goodbye to the stage this year, I felt the need to cover one of their great anthems. I was clear that I wanted to take it to my field: a club version, with a very electronic base, designed for dancing and sharing it this summer at festivals.” The song is co-produced by INNMIR and Dani Bearoid (Alavedra, Niño Bravos).
