“Dirty Profits. Unfinished Business”, live album by The Mars Volta

Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López announce a live album with The Mars Volta. “Dirty Profit. Unfinished Business” It will be released on September 4 on streaming platforms.

More than twenty years have passed since they published their previous live show, “Scabdates”which was released in 2005 with a totally different line-up. This time the group is made up of Cedric Bixler-Zavala (vocals), Omar Rodríguez-López (guitar), Teresa Suárez (vocals), Philo Tsoungui (drums), Eva Gardner (bass), Marcel Rodríguez-López (keyboards, percussion) and Leo Genovese (keyboards, sax).

“Dirty Profit. Unfinished Business” reinterprets in concert the latest studio work, “Dirty Profit; The Eyes of the Void”although the recordings come from different concerts that have been posted on their channels and fans have been able to vote to see which ones ended up on the album.

“Dirty Profit. Unfinished Business” This repertoire will include “Fin”, “Queen Tormenta/Enlazan Las Tinieblas”, “Mictlan”, “The Iron Rose”, “Cue The Sun/Alba del Orate”, “Voice in my Knives/Poseedora de mishadow”, “Celaje”, “Vocifero”, “Myth of the Thirteen Heavens”, “A shot into the void/Behind the Door”, “Dorada”, “Maullidos”, “Morgana/Cue the Sun” and “Dirty Profit.”

As a first preview, The Mars Volta have shared the live version of “Cue The Sun/Alba del Orate”.
