Marina Herlopone of our most internationally prestigious experimental artists, returns to the news with the single “Jaque”.
“Jaque” is the first preview of what will be his fifth full-length album – and very importantly, the first that he will self-release in his career and that Lapsus Records will distribute through !K/ Music –, which will be officially released on October 9.
“Dja Dja” will be the name of this long-awaited album with which the Spanish artist will expand a career that has been evolving by gigantic steps in her previous references: “Nekkuja” (23), “Pripyat” (22), “Babasha” (17) and “Nanook” (16).
Herlop has been working on this album for two years and the result is one of the most ambitious of his career, becoming an album that combines electronics with orchestrations and experimentation with gamelan and other genres. As always, the vocal work is also once again one of the great elements of their proposal.
