Bertín Osborne denies that his “right-wing” operator is a politician

Bertín Osborne wants you to believe that his new 100% Spanish operator, called Española de Telefonía, has no political spirit behind it, even though it officially prides itself on being an operator aimed at “people who love their country, that is, Spain”, and boasts of a service where “things well done, things right” predominate.

When asked about criticism of the Spanish tone of his new company, Osborne has not spared some rather derogatory words towards his critics: “The criticism, especially from the retarded, blows my mind.” Of course, regarding FACUA-Consumers in Action’s accusations of possible legal breaches and misleading advertising on the web, it has not said anything.

Osborne explained that “the company is called that because we are proud to be Spanish, because there are 200 people in a call center and they are all Spanish, you don’t call and they answer you from Morocco or from Tunisia, they answer you from Córdoba.” This figure of 200 workers has caught the attention of FACUA, which has questioned its veracity, since it would be more typical of a company with around 700,000 clients.

The organization has also denounced a “long list of irregularities in its new telecommunications company, which for the most part have been eliminated from the Española de Telefonía website”, including alleged cases of misleading advertising and the false “speed test” of internet connection.

Osborne, on the other hand, has not completely abandoned his music career. Although the flop of his rancheras album was historic, the television presenter also released a single this spring with El Sevilla, ‘Tú noEres mi Amigo’.
