Queens Of The Stone Age share their intense live show on KEXP

The Americans Queens Of The Stone Age They have shared their performance at the KEXP live shows and the truth is that it is an intense show in which the group takes different paths than usual.

On April 28, Josh Homme and his Queens Of The Stone Age recorded a concert for the Seattle (United States) radio station KEXP and the result is more surprising musically than their concert in the catacombs of Paris.

The group dares with a medley of “Someone’s In The Wolf”, “A Song For The Deaf” and “Straight Jacket Fitting”, “Mosquito Song”, “Keep Your Eyes Peeled” and “Spinning in Daffodils”, but from a perspective closer to Nick Cave or especially the late David Bowie than to the group’s usual guitar outbursts.

And the orchestral arrangements take the Queens repertoire to an unprecedented stage, working with instruments such as tuba, horn, violin or cello, which give a darker and more intricate spirit to the repertoire that we already knew from the group.
