It was evident that Bad Bunny’s world tour was going to reduce everything that came before him in stadiums to monstrous figures. Now, Billboard confirms the phenomenon with data. In Spain, one of its strongest points has been Madrid, where its 10 concerts at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium have brought together some 623,000 people and have generated around $96.1 million in income.
Barcelona, for its part, has brought in around 120,000 attendees to its two concerts at the Estadi Olímpic, within a Spanish leg that, together, has far exceeded 800,000 tickets sold, placing Spain as one of the key markets of the entire tour, to no one’s surprise.
Globally, the ‘I Should Shoot More Photos World Tour’ has already exceeded $360 million in revenue and 2.4 million tickets sold in its first 41 dates, becoming the largest tour held outside the United States in terms of revenue and attendance. Europe and Latin America have been the main axes of the tour.
With these results, Bad Bunny not only consolidates the biggest tour of his career, but has also surpassed $1 billion in accumulated income. with all the tours that he has accomplished in his global career. Bad Bunny is the first Latin superstar – and the first non-English speaker – to achieve that level of global live billing.
There are 15 concerts still to be counted until their final show on July 22 in Brussels and Billboard reports that the final figures could close to around $450 million or more.
