Madonna told the Tribeca audience that she had lost interest in the traditional video format. It was a lie. A week after the short for ‘Confessions – The Film’ in which each song only appeared for a minute and a half, the official video for ‘Bring Your Love’ has been released, which lasts 4 minutes, longer than the song itself. There are also new gems, like that moment when the artist shoots out from inside a rug.
The video is full of special effects and sound that somewhat hinder the experience and the kind message of the composition. It serves to underline the ultimate meaning of the message developed by Madonna with Sabrina Carpenter: let’s flee from the violence that surrounds us and be happy on the dance floor, without cell phones or social networks, even if only for a moment.
Julia Garner, who was selected to play Madonna in the biopic she wrote but was never filmed due to problems with Universal Pictures, makes the same cameo as in the short. She is a youthful version of Madonna, like the one who finally leaves the nightclub, renewed, happier than a partridge.
