Espai Vapor will celebrate its fourteenth edition on July 3, 4 and 5 with names like Bizarre Love Triangle either The Pains of Being Pure at Heartamong many others.
The festival Espai Vapor will be held in Plaça Vapor Ventalló, within the framework of the Terrassa Major Festivalwith a poster marked by distortion, emotional intensity and the new sounds of the contemporary independent scene, recovering its international presence this year.
The programming will include names like Bizarre Love Triangle, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Give me area, VVV (Trippin’you), The Silver, The Dianas, Dharmacide, paco i love you, The Snitches, Salvana, Ezpalak and Lys Morke. The sessions of Verushka, Friendly DJ and Maadraassoo DJ.
This year’s programming reinforces the commitment of Espai Vapor for the most restless and emotional proposals of the contemporary independent scene, with a selection of artists marked by distorted guitars, dark electronics and live intensity.
Among the most notable names, Bizarre Love Triangle they return to Espai Vapor with their forceful and visceral live performance, consolidated as one of the essential bands of state indie. The Galician band will arrive in Terrassa after publishing “My Cathedral”their new work, and in full celebration of their twenty-year career marked by emotional chaos, distortion and a radically anti-rock attitude.
This year, Espai Vapor also recovers the international presence with The Pains of Being Pure at Hearta cult band from the North American indie scene that returns to the stage with its original lineup after more than a decade. References of shoegaze and emotional noise pop, their universe combines fuzz, romanticism and generational intensity.
The Silveralready converted into one of the bands most related to the spirit of Espai Vaporthey will return to Terrassa with “Interzone”their new work, a sonic and emotional journey between synthwave, punk and post-punk. In this same contemporary line, VVV (Trippin’You) will present “MECHARADIO”a retrofuturistic and post-apocalyptic immersion where music becomes transmission, noise and emotional refuge. The Madrid trio fuses radical electronica, makina, jungle and post-punk with a furious and generational energy.
The programming is completed with The Snitches and its irreverent proposal between punk, surrealism and chaos; Lys Morkean artist from Terrassa who fuses sound and visual arts live, moving between dark pop, techno and experimental electronics; and the sessions Verushka, Friendly DJ and DJ Maadraassoowhich will bring club energy and dance floor culture to Espai Vapor.
In previous editions, prominent names such as The Wave Pictures, Women, The Killer Swing, The Punsetes or their own Bizarre Love Triangleamong many others.
Organized by the Terrassa City Council and Indirect, Espai Vapor remains an unavoidable event for the restless, curious and intergenerational public that seeks to discover new sounds and experience music in an open, festive and quality environment.
