Bilbao BBK Live returns in July with a line-up headed by artists such as Calvin Harris, Robbie Williams, David Byrne, FKA Twigs, Dellafuente, IDLES or Lily Allen.
A little less than a month before his return to Kobetamendi, Bilbao BBK Live has revealed the schedules for a very special edition, that of its twentieth anniversary. On July 9, 10 and 11, more than eighty artists will perform on the different stages located in the mountains of Bilbao in this great meeting point between music, nature and the city.
The first day, Thursday, July 9, will be headed by Calvin Harriswhich will offer its only concert on the Peninsula accompanied by a show full of great hits and spectacular production. It will share the spotlight with names like FKA twigs, David Byrne, Dani Fernández either Belen Aguilerain addition to proposals such as Apparat, Fatoumata Diawara either Paris Paloma.
Friday will be the turn of Robbie Williamswhich will arrive with its Long 90’s Tour coinciding with the release of “Britpop”. That second day will also bring together artists such as Alabama Shakes, Belle and Sebastian, La MODAin addition to an important electronic presence with Richie Hawtin, Soulwax and TOMORA. National proposals such as Xoel López, Sonora Depression or Yerai Cortés.
The closing on Saturday the 11th will be led by Dellafuenteone of the big names on the current state scene, accompanied by IDLES, Lily Allen, Interpol, Charlotte de Witte, ZAZ either horsegiirLin addition to new names like Ralphie Choo and BB Trickz.
Beyond its main stages, the festival will once again reinforce its electronic identity with spaces such as Basoa, which will bring together figures such as 2manydjs, DJ Koze, Erol Alkan or DJ Nobuwhile Lasai will opt for more experimental proposals and slow listening. In addition, Gorria will return as a club space with special sessions starring Metrika and Argentina Taichuthus completing an edition that aspires to turn this twentieth anniversary into one of the most ambitious in its history.
