Square opens call for emerging artists

The festival Squareone of the recent events with the greatest projection in Portugal in terms of new talents, has opened its call to sign new emerging artists who can become part of its lineup.

The next edition of the Portuguese Square will take place in the northern town of Braga, with additional programming in Famalicão, Guimarães and Viana do Castelo. It is a festival of showcases in which both professionals and the public discover new proposals from Europe, Africa or even America. It will be held between January 27 and 30 of next year.

But the best news is that the event has opened its call to have new emerging projects, always looking for independent artists, areas that are not the usual ones and all with the intention of building bridges between geographies, languages ​​and music.

Square is part of the initiatives that make up Braga25, Portuguese Cultural Capital, led by Faz Cultura and Braga Municipal Culture Company, and is organized by Lovers & Lollypops.
