The Spanish Wave has opened the call to select the artists who will be part of its programming in The New Colossus Festival 2027one of the first major events on the international calendar to discover new talents that will take place on March 9 to 14, 2027.
Held annually in New Yorkthe festival has established itself as a reference platform for emerging artists thanks to a format that combines live performances, conferences and networking spaces. The festival takes place in different venues and clubs throughout Manhattan, allowing participants to tour different neighborhoods of the city while discovering new musical proposals and possible collaborations.
Since 2025, The Spanish Wave has expanded the scope of its presence at the event by incorporating not only Spanish artists, but also Spanish-speaking projects based in the United States or Latin Americato strengthen cultural and professional ties between two historically connected parts of the world. One of the central points of this participation is once again the traditional “Meet The Spaniards” party, which will be held at the historic New York club Baker Falls, an emblematic space for live music.

The Spanish Wave is a project for the internationalization of Spanish talent that aims to help export emerging artists and bands from our country, participating with “showcases” in the most important fairs, festivals and musical events in the world, with the presence of professionals from the national and international industry. It works closely with booking agencies, record labels, both national and international promoters, as well as with partners such as AIE, the SGAE Foundation, Instituto Cervantes, Live Nation Spain, Ticketmaster Spain, Mondo Sonoro and Radio 3.
