BAGHDAD! They continue to shape their identity with the release of “Flores contra el zar”, a new single that confirms the good creative moment of the Barcelona group.
Intense, melodic and with a sweeping rhythm, the song is built on a true story of resistance. The starting point of the topic thus arises from the experience of a Ukrainian woman who, a few weeks after the start of the Russian invasion, decided to return to her country.
BAGHDAD!, from that profound and symbolic gesture, give life to a song that puts value in everyday bravery. But they do not do it through a solemn sound, but rather they surprise by converting the momentum of the story into an intense rhythmic discharge. The result is a direct, emotional and powerful song, which reinforces the group’s ability to combine rock energy with a narrative vocation.
“Flowers Against the Tsar” has been recorded in the studios Grocery Costa Brava together with the producer Sant Garciaresponsible for the sound of bands like Biznaga, Cala Vento or Repionconfirming the ambition of the group, which already has new material and a debut full-length album on the horizon.
We will be able to hear this new proposal during two concerts already confirmed in Barcelona: the June 4 in Diobar next to Border and the October 9 in Heliogàbalwhere they will share the stage with gatefold.
