The people of Madrid Kitai have launched “The Always Bar”their fifth studio album and the first after the departure of their original vocalist, a change that has redefined their sound and their proposal.
The incorporation of Kenya along with the founding members Deivhook, Edu and Fabio has promoted a new stage for the Madrid band, which transforms the internal crisis into the emotional axis of the album. Songs like “I started singing”, “Hasta Que Duela la Noche” or “Ya Esta” function as a kind of recent autobiography of the group, crossed by frustration, uncertainty and the need to move forward.
Produced by Lalo GVknown for works with Bogotá or Walls burnsthe album expands Kitai’s sound universe by incorporating electronic elements and darker textures without abandoning its rock DNA of direct riffs and choruses designed for live performances.
Among the most notable songs is “Jump and Break,” a collaboration with Pignoise that embraces the punk-rock revival from a youthful and festive energy. “Telaraña” also stands out, where the band explores territories close to Nothing But Thieves or Royal Blood, mixing electronic tension and dark grooves.
The album also arrives after Kitai’s participation in the Benidorm Fest 2026 with “El amor te da fear”, becoming the only rock proposal of the contest and reaching sixth position in the final.
