Rototom Sunsplash has presented a new batch of confirmations for its 31st edition, which will be held on August 16 to 22, 2026 in Benicàssim (Castellón), practically consolidating this year’s poster.
The festival reinforces its commitment to reggae in all its aspects, with special prominence of roots and the most classic scene of the genre. Among the new names stand out Alpha Blondy, Luciano, The Itals, Bushman and Twinkle Brotherswho lead programming focused on spirituality and Jamaican tradition.
The start of the festival will take place on August 16 with the Welcome Party, a previous open access day in which concerts and musical sessions will be held as a prelude to the six main days of the event.
Together with the big names of roots reggae, Rototom will once again combine contemporary and global proposals, with artists such as Major Lazer Soundsystem, Shenseea or Protoje already previously announced, in addition to new additions that cross reggae, dub, hip hop and urban sounds.
The program will also include historical figures of the sound system and dub culture, with sessions from names such as Iration Steppas or King Earthquakein addition to a strong presence of international groups and artists linked to the Afro-descendant and urban scene.
Beyond music, the festival will maintain its multidisciplinary character with spaces dedicated to social debates, educational activities, yoga, urban culture and workshops, reinforcing its identity as a cultural encounter that transcends concerts.
With this new update, the Rototom Sunsplash leaves its lineup practically closed and faces its 31st edition as one of the great European events of the summer around reggae music.
