Quevedo leaves Chiara Oliver without number 1 in Spain

The Spanish album list leaves interesting news this week. Quevedo maintains number 1 with ‘EL BAIFO’ and leaves Chiara Oliver at number 2 with ‘No fue real’, her debut album. The former Operación Triunfo 2023 contestant is number 1 on vinyl, benefiting in part from the fact that the vinyl of ‘EL BAIFO’ does not exist.

Oliver does not place any single from ‘It Wasn’t Real’ on the singles chart. On the other hand, Rels B places their album ‘Love Love Flakkk’ one place below, at number 3, but floods the singles list with songs from the album. We discuss it later.

The top 5 leaves another entry: that of Melendi, who, taking over the literality of Charli XCX or, before, Kylie Minogue, has titled her album ‘Pop Rock’. It places it at 4, but it also does not include any single in its corresponding list.

In the lower positions of the table we find three entries: ‘Oral_Abisal’, the new album by Silvia Pérez Cruz, appears at 70. ‘Born to Kill’ by rockers Social Distortion appears at 71. The low entry, at 82, of ‘OMERTA’, the joint album by J Balvin and Ryan Castro, is surprising, perhaps because it has not managed to make any song go viral.
