Lambchop They released the single “Weakened” a few days ago as the first preview of their seventeenth album “Punching The Clown”, scheduled for August.
After almost four years of silence, the band has shared “Weakened”, their new single. The song features the participation of Andrew Broder on the guitar and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) on banjo, accompanied by a choir led by Blake Morgan. The song is the first preview of “Punching The Clown”, his next full-length that will be released on August 21 via City Slang and Merge Recordsin which it presents the band in one of its most naked and, at the same time, most powerful incarnations, traveling between gospel, folk and country.
Along with this announcement, the group has already confirmed its first dates of the album presentation tourwhich will pass through different European countries such as Portugal, Norway, Germany, United Kingdom, Luxembourg and more between the end of 2026 and the beginning of 2027. For the moment, there are no confirmed Spanish dates.
With more than three decades of career, Lambchop has been made up of a large and dynamic collective of musicians focused on its creative core, the leader Kurt Wagner.
