“No God”, second preview of Show Me The Body’s next work

The New York band “Show Me The Body” will publish “Alone Together”their new album, the next July 10 via Loma Vista Recordings.

Coinciding with the announcement, the group has shared “No God”, a new introspective preview that comes accompanied by a video clip. The song continues to expand the sound universe that the band had already begun to show with “Dance In The USA”, the first preview of the album and the starting point of a new artistic stage.

In “No God”, the trio once again displays the keys to their musical identity, which is characterized by a sound that seems almost angry due to the tension it entails. The video clip, set in Queens, accompanies that intensity with a car tour starring the group’s leader Julian Pratt together with the driver and creator License.

Conceived as a continuation of “Trouble The Water“(22), “Alone Together” It is presented as a more direct and focused work, crossed by reflections on beliefs, community and emotional resistance. The album has been produced together with Klas Åhlund and Kenneth Blume IIIwho helped the band refine their signature language, pushing it toward a sharper, more recognizable version.

Rather than building abstract atmospheres, the album seeks frontal communication, an invitation to support each other in uncertain times. A language that is also reflected in his latest series of conversations led by Nicholas Hellerin which Pratt dialogues with artists and collaborators about these same topics. The first three episodes are now available on YouTube.
