Shortly after visiting other locations, Morrissey returns to Spain this summer with two concerts in Barcelona and Madridwhere he will review his legacy and present his new material.
The British pop icon will perform on July 25 at the Poble Espanyol within the Barts Festival, and July 29 at the Movistar Arena. Both concerts are co-organized by Primavera Sound and the promoter SFMusic.
These dates mark his return to both cities after more than a decade, as part of the tour to present his next work, “Make-up is a Lie.” Even so, the repertoire will also include nods to all stages of his career.
Considered one of the most influential voices in British pop, Morrissey has built a solid career both solo and as frontman. The Smithsa group with which he marked an entire generation with songs like “This Charming Man” or “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out.” In his individual stage, he has expanded that legacy with songs like “Suedehead” or “Everyday Is Like Sunday.”
Tickets for both concerts will be available starting April 24 at 10:00 through official channels, including the Primavera Sound website and the platforms associated with each city.
