Omar Courtz ends Quevedo’s reign and climbs to number 1 in singles in Spain with ‘Koko’, one of the singles taken from his album ‘Por Si Tomorrow I’m Not Here’, which also climbs back to the first position on the albums list.
The Puerto Rican singer and rapper signs another song within the top 10, ‘Forever tu Gantel’ together with Ñengo Flow, located in 8th position, and many others within the top 100.
It is a golden era for afrobeat in Spain. ‘Koko’ is a cut of the style, and the next entry on the list is also, although less melancholic and more dry and rhythmic: we are talking about ‘Por ti’ by Yapi and Soundplug, which debuts at number 55.
The third and final entry on the list is quite a curiosity, since Tame Impala places a song on the Spanish singles chart for the first time in their career: it is, of course, ‘Dracula’, but in its original version, not the remix with Jennie, also viral. ‘Dracula’ enters at number 81 after the concerts that Kevin Parker has offered in Madrid and Barcelona.
Finally, after their recent concerts in large venues, La La Love You achieves a new peak for ‘El fin del mundo’, together with Axolotes Mexicanos, which rises from 27 to 22. ‘El fin del mundo’ now has 8 platinum albums in Spain – as we already told you – without ever having reached the first 20 positions.
