After performing at La Riviera in Madrid on March 6, the band has announced new dates for their tenth anniversary celebration tour, with which they will visit various cities in the country. Thus, the group will perform in Salamanca (March 20, La Chica de Ayer), Zamora (March 21, Avalon Café), Valencia (May 2, Els concerts de la Pèrgola), Seville (May 8, Sala Malandar) and Alcázar de San Juan (June 20, Solstice Festival). Even so, there are still more dates to be announced.
The band began to celebrate its first decade of career with “Camón”, a song that works as a nod to the past, but also a way to remember where they come from. Their most recent single, “Hey how you come,” was released on January 29. Both songs are produced by Iago White.
Camels is a quartet formed in Madrid ten years ago, although its members come from other places. Their music moves between garage pop and melodic post punk. Their songs, sung in two voices, have lyrics in Spanish, often loaded with humor and irony.
