Jose Gonzalez premieres “A Perfect Storm”, his new single and second preview of his fifth album, “Against The Dying Of The Light”.
The singer has presented his new song, “A Perfect Storm”, a song with diverse influences that captures the emotional weight of living in this accelerated moment, suspended between fascination and anxiety. The single anticipates the release of González’s long-awaited new album, “Against the Dying of the Light”, which will be released on Friday March 27 through Mute Records in North America and City Slang in the rest of the world.
Along with this release, the artist has announced a tour of Spain, where he will visit Lanuza (July 9, Southern Pyrenees), Barcelona (October 28, Paral·lel 62 – Empremtes Festival), Valencia (October 29, La Rambleta – Piñata Festival), Murcia (October 30, Mamba! – Noches del Malecón) and Seville (October 31, Cartuja Center CITE – Insólito Festival).
José González began his career more than two decades ago, having released four solo albums. In addition, he has sold more than a million copies of his albums and has filled stages around the world. He has also been awarded the Swedish Grammy Award for Singer-Songwriter of the Year in 2021 for his latest album, “Local Valley”, and in 2024 he was inducted into the Swedish Music Hall of Fame.
