Cameron Picton (Black Midi) announces debut album from his new band

Cameron Picton (Black Midi) announces the debut album of his new band, My New Band Believewhich will be released next April 10.

The former Black Midi member has announced that his new project’s self-titled debut full-length, My New Band Believewill see the light next April 10. Along with the announcement, the band has released “Numerology”, their new single that oscillates between danceable and psychedelia. Accompanied by a video clip directed by Jack Sheppthe song will not be part of the album, but will appear on the deluxe version of the album.

The band has revealed that the album will be titled “My New Band Believe“, and will consist of the following eight songs: “Target Practice”; “In the Blink of an Eye”, “Heart of Darkness”, “Love Story”, “Pearls”, “Opposite Teacher”, “Actress” and “One Night”. They will also embark on their first headlining tour starting in April, visiting cities such as Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and London, among others.

My New Band Believe is a project created by Cameron Picton after the dissolution of Black Midi in 2023. Picton released My New Band Believe in February 2025 with the song “Lecture 25”, which now faces its new musical stage with the release of its first full-length.
