Maria Jaume previews the title song “Sant Domingo Forever”

“Sant Domingo Forever” is the title of the new song by Maria Jaume and the one that gives name to his fourth album, which will be released on Friday February 27.

The theme claims the transformative power of festivals as a way to escape from everyday life for a time and let oneself be carried away by collective joy. It also expresses that desire to be able to live eternally in that state of collective euphoria, leaving aside all sorrows.

“Sant Domingo Forever” highlights the artist’s emotional bond with Mallorca, in this case with the patron saint festivities of Sant Domingo in her town, Lloret de Vistalegre. The person in charge of the production of the single is Lluís Cabot (akaluigi) and the mixing is done by Joan Borras (Oques Grasses), who follow the aesthetics that already characterize a new stage for María Jaume: a pop base with details of traditional Mallorcan music. Castanets and drums merge with synthesizers, bass and contemporary percussion.

With this new song, Maria Jaume celebrates tradition from a generational and emotional point of view, preparing her listeners for her fourth album, whose special live presentation will be on March 21 at the Girona Auditorium.
