Foo Fighters announce new album. “Foo Fighters” will be published on April 24but now you can hear the first preview, the powerful “Your Favorite Toy”.
If you were wondering if Foo Fighters were going to release new material soon, now you have the answer. On April 24, a new work by the band will be released, which will be titled after the group’s name. So, with all certainty, many of their songs will be played in the concert that the band will offer at their performance in Madrid. Mad Cool on July 8.
“Your Favorite Toy” is a fast and direct song, more furious in its sound than we expected, with a chorus that is easy to sing and that points out a new line in the trajectory of Foo Fighters. It remains to be seen if it will be a representative song on the album or an exception.
For now what we can say is that Dave Grohl has pointed out that “Your Favorite Toy” was “really the key that opened the tone and energetic direction of the new album. We found it after experimenting for more than a year with different sounds and dynamics, and the day it took shape I knew we had to follow its guide. It was the spark that lit the powder keg of songs that we ended up recording for this album.”
Engraved on your own home studiothe album has been co-produced by Foo Fighters and Oliver Romanwith engineering Oliver Roman and mixing by Mark “Spike” Stent.
