Miranda Urban Festival Female Artists Competition

The second edition of the Miranda contest, organized by the Asociación Amigos Rafael Izquierdo, La Agencia and the collaboration of the City Council, is running until March 8.

The second edition of the Female Artists Competition of the Miranda Urban Festival. The contest was born to give visibility and value the artistic and cultural work of all those young people who often have more difficult access to festival posters. The winner or winners will participate in the festival sharing the bill with top-level bands such as Boikot, N-Wise Allah, Nico Miseria, La Reina Mora

The contest is open to composers or groups of any nationality, over 16 and under 40 years old, as long as their group has a minimum of 50% female participants. The group or solo artist will be part of the festival poster for this edition and will receive a prize of €450. The contest is totally open to all musical styles related to the festival.

The winners of the previous edition were the Zamoranas Titis Twistera rock group made up entirely of girls.

Registration process for the contest: It will be done through the festival’s social networks, posting a story with their music and tagging the MUF. It will also be essential to send an email to: [email protected] before March 9, with a link to music from the band or artist, a photo of the group or soloist and the names of the members. The jury will communicate its decision before March 22.
