Bad Bunny continues at number 1 on the Spanish album chart, also with the largest increase in number of copies of the week. There are two reasons: the Super Bowl and the late vinyl edition. More than a year after its release, ‘I should have thrown more photos’ goes straight to number 1 on the vinyl chart.
The strongest entry is that of 091 with their album ‘Espejismo nº9’. They go straight to number 4, thanks to the good acceptance of singles like ‘There is no point in escaping’, ‘Before the sun rises’ or ‘Something similar to a dream’. His 2019 album, ‘The Other Life’, had ranked at number 5, so this is his best all-time record.
We must also talk about the rise of MVRK, which goes from 28th place to 3rd place with ‘Behave well!’. The Madrid native – specifically from Vallecas – is postulated as one of the revelations of the season, with only Bad Bunny and Rosalía ahead of him. He recently performed at the Movistar Arena.
In terms of international entries, we have Joji’s ‘Piss in the Wind’ at number 15; Robbie Williams at number 41 with ‘BRITPOP’ (recent number 1 in the UK); and J Cole with ‘The Fall-Off’ at number 89 (recent number 1 in the USA).
Other entries are ‘La Calma’ by El Kanka in 14th place, ‘All the height I want’ by Paula Mattheus in 19th place, ’10 crazy barefoot years’ by Pedro Pastor in 68th place, ‘Forever’ by María Escarmiento in 84th place, ‘IO Canto 2’ by Laura Pausini in 90th place and ‘Cerezos en flor’ by Luis Fercan in 94th place.
