Bad Bunny is the star of the week on the Spanish charts after his victory at the Grammys and his very popular performance at the Super Bowl. If ‘I should have thrown more photos’ remains at number 1 on the albums list, on the singles list we see that all its tracks have risen and that others have re-entered.
All the songs in the top 10 that go up are by Bad Bunny, while the others go down. Thus, ‘Baile unforgettable’ rises to number 1, ‘Nuevayol’ to 2 and ‘DTMF’ to 3. Also ‘I’m going to take you Pa PR’ climbs to 8, ‘EoO’ to 9 or ‘Veldá’ to 13, but the boom also affects old songs like ‘La canción’ with J Balvin, which goes from 82 to 32. Among the songs that re-enter, ‘Kloufrens’ does so at 40 and ‘Weltita’ at 49, while ‘Monaco’ appears at 71, unrelated to that album.
The Super Bowl effect also benefits Lady Gaga, a stellar guest in Benito’s performance (along with Ricky Martin), whose duet with Bruno Mars, ‘Die with a Smile’, rises from 73 to 69.
And in this list, prepared with data counted as of February 6, we must also talk about the “February 6” effect in Aitana’s now classic hit: precisely ‘February 6’ has a considerable growth, rising from 45 to 16.
The chart also presents new features, most of them related to urban music singles. ‘5 Estrellas’, W Sound’s new bet with Myke Towers and Ovy on the Drums (authors of ‘La Plena’), debuts at number 58, while Eladio Carrión gives ‘Buenos Días’ from 81 and ‘Muchacha’ brings together Aissa, RVFV and Kreamly at 83.
The last real entry is starred by Marc Anthony and Nathy Peluso with their romantic sauce ‘Como en el idilio’, which debuts at number 93. A few places earlier we find another interesting novelty: the re-entry of ‘Opalite’, by Taylor Swift, which after the premiere of its video appears at number 66.
