Jorge Drexler previews what his new album will be with “Toco Madera”

Jorge Drexler has released “Toco Madera”, the first preview of his fifteenth full-length album titled “Taraca”.

The singer has presented his new song, “Toco Madera”, an energetic and percussive song, which puts the drum as the main protagonist of the song. Accompanied by a video clip directed by Mario Arenasthe visual highlights the importance of the drum, and at the same time also pays homage to it. This song serves as the first preview of what will be their fifteenth album, “Taraca”, and that will see the light soon.

Jorge Drexler is a Uruguayan composer and multi-instrumentalist, who began his career in the early 90s. His international recognition came with the album “Echo“, published in 2004, and since then he has become one of the most important musicians on the Hispanic and international scene.
