We were waiting for it. This is the complete poster for what will be the tenth anniversary edition of the cycle Botanical Nightsa true reference when it comes to live music that takes place in Madrid.
This tenth anniversary edition will take place between June 3 and July 31 at the Alfonso XIII Royal Botanical Garden of the Complutense University of Madrid. More than sixty artists of very different nationalities, styles and levels will pass through there, but all of them attractive to the sectors of the public they target.
Already in December, the first confirmations that formed an amalgamation of musical figures were announced. That first list included Rigoberta Bandini, Two Door Cinema Club, Ethel Cain, Lia Kali, Ginebras, Love Of Lesbian, Zaz, Danny Elfman, Silvana Estrada/Mari Froes, Jean-Michel Jarre, Alabama Shakes, Belle & Sebastian, Rick Astley, ZZ Top, Biffy Clyro and Diana Krall. They later joined Shinova or Antoñito Molinaamong others.
But, if there wasn’t enough, now we can also list artists like Rubén Blades, Tom Jones, Van Morrison, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Snarky Puppy, Pat Metheny or LP–who had already gone through the cycle in previous years– and also others who will debut at Noches del Botánico such as Garbage, Big Thief, John Legend, OMD, The Kooks, Dove Ellis, Beat (Tony Levin, Adrian Belew, Danny Carey and Steve Vaitogether performing repertoire of King Crimson)Jeff Goldblum and Tomoraamong many others. And if we focus on Latin American artists apart from Rubén Blades, there will also be the opportunity to enjoy with Babasonicos, El Zar, María Becerra, Cultura Profética, Gilsons, Lasso, Elvis Crespo y Silvestre y La Naranja.
Obviously, new national names cannot be missing, and among these we are going to mention M-Clan, Veintiuno, Pablo López, Marta Santos, Yerai Cortés and the tribute to “Omega” of Enrique Morente and Lizard Nick,
Doors will continue to open at 7:30 p.m. (except for Van Morrison concerts, which will open at 7:00 p.m.), allowing the public to enjoy the green areas, the gastronomic offer, the market and other essential spaces of Noches del Botánico, both before and after the concert.
Tickets for the new confirmed dates will be available from Tuesday, February 17, at 12:00 noonand can be purchased exclusively through nightsdelbotanico.com and at the El Corte Inglés points of sale. Physical sales at El Corte Inglés will be available 24 hours after the online launch.
