Warren Ellis (Dirty Three, The Bad Seeds) has already opened its animal sanctuary in Indonesia and disseminates its work in a documentary. “Ellis Park”.
Since last June, Warren Ellis, known for being the leader of Dirty Three and being an indispensable part of The Bad Seeds, as well as one of the closest collaborators he has ever had Nick Cavethe presentations in person of the documentary began last June “Ellis Park”with which he makes his work known for preserving wildlife in Sumatra.
Apart from his musical career, Warren Ellis has invested his money in an adventure that honors him. This is Ellis Park, the park that has created in Indonesia to preserve wildlife and host animals so that they have not recovered from wounds and that would not survive in their natural habitat. Most of the animated animals have been victims of abuse by humans. These are animals with mental traumas or that have lost members, and so on.
Warren Ellis began this project during the pandemic, buying land that is part of the already existing Sumatra Wildlife Center. In “Ellis Park” –Dergined by Justin Kurzel-, not only we are told about the task that Ellis plays to take care of animals, but also talk about the terrible traffic of wild animals that exists in Sumatra.
You can expand the information about the Ellis project on the official website of the Park; www.ellispark.org/
You can make donations from five euros to whatever you want, selecting the animal you want to “adopt” in the distance.
