2025 starts with the 35th edition of the Actual Festival

The new edition of Current Festivalwhich will take place in Logroño from January 2 to 6, will feature more than 100 cultural activities.

On Thursday, January 2, the 35th edition of the Current Festival with an extensive program divided into four large blocks: music, theater, cinema and a careful agenda of exhibitions and other parallel activities that will accommodate other cultural disciplines such as board games or video games.

As for the musical programming, it includes 24 different events and 44 soloists and bands over the five days of the festival. The UNIR Stage, in the Palacio de los Deportes, will host the big concerts on January 3 and 4: Friday with the Riojans Psycho Rebel Front, Mando Diao and The Planets; and on Saturday with Russian Red, Mikel Izaly Elephants. The opening concert will be on Thursday, January 2 at Riojaforum and will feature Mikel Erentxun celebrating 40 years of Duncan Dhu.

The cycles Vermú Torero, Café Cantante, Actual Urbano and Matinales con Estrella complete the musical lineup, to which are also added a couple of rock concerts at the Sala Fundcción and Actual DJ, to end the days enjoying on the dance floor. Groups such as Crudo Pimento, Sex Museum, Calequi y las Pantera, Merino, La Vil Canalla, Gilipojazz…
