Olivia Rodrigo hits the mark in 'drop dead': The Cure, indie 2000 and adolescent ecstasy

Who performs at the feminist festival organized by Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo has announced Daisy Chain Fields, her own music festival, taking place on August 29 in Irvine, California. The singer had been dreaming of organizing an event like this for years and, yes, you guessed it, she took as a reference the legendary Lilith Fair, which already in the 90s turned a festival made up exclusively of women into reality.

The lineup will be made up exclusively of female artists or bands led by women. Among the names are Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Bikini Kill, Garbage, The Breeders (supporting Olivia during the ‘GUTS’ tour), Katseye, Santigold and Rachel Chinouriri, as well as special guests such as Stevie Nicks, Karen O and Sarah McLachlan.

Net proceeds from tickets will go to organizations that work for the rights and health of women and girls, including Planned Parenthood or the Center for Reproductive Rights. In addition, no artist will receive benefits for their performance.
