Periphery They premiere with us today “What remains to be felt.” This is the quartet’s first single since the release of the album. “Nobody’s corners” (Kasba, 25).
Periferia returns to the fray with the publication of “What remains to be felt”, a release that comes almost a year after their album “Nobody’s Corners”. On this occasion, the La Roca quintet presents us with a song in which they seek to honor “the condemnation that is oblivion, which comes from the hand of the future.” In addition, the launch is accompanied by a video clip directed by Gerard Bufi.
“What remains to be felt” represents everything that remains to be forgotten. Far from the first pessimistic and sad feeling about the future that this phrase may present, Periferia propose turning it around. They explain: “We must fill our present with feeling, squeeze it to the maximum. The good and the bad will go away.” They add: “Nothing you have in your head now is going to transcend. This is a perfect opportunity to surrender to whatever comes.”
Periferia are confirmed as one of the great new bands of our rock with the publication of “Nobody’s Corners” (25). An album in which they managed to escape the monotony into which the genre had fallen and sound fresh, catchy, modern and original. Highlighting the voice of Berthawhich perfectly transmits the sweetness and rebellion of his youth.
