Today we premiere the video clip for “Regalo poisonado”, new single from the Granada group Black Limewho releases his album “Dangers” tomorrow
“Poisoned Gift”, along with his first album “Dangers”will officially see the light tomorrow February 27. The band is made up, in essence, of “Javier Sola and Juan Carlos Ruiz, a kind of Pete Doherty and Carl Barat disguised, at times, as Juan Perro or Willy Deville, with an overflowing capacity and curiosity to discover, absorb and usurp foreign music.”
Regarding this video clip, the group points out that: “When good intentions are not enough. Loving in a healthy way does not exist, at least in this autobiographical song. As happens to the scorpion when it crosses the river helped by the frog, it cannot help but stab it even if that means the death of both. Beyond our desires, we cannot fight against our nature and stop being who we are. Love, ego and self-destruction with a rock attitude, accessible melody and direct lyrics.”
The video clip has been directed by Pabloide, with Irene Tejero Fernández and Pablo Rodríguez as camera operators. As for the band, in addition to Javier and Juan Carlos, we find Francesco Buffone (electric guitar), Ahinara Egea (bass and backing vocals) and Popi González (drums). The album is published by Montgrí and Dangerous Productions.
