We premiere the “in my carousel” video clip of The Dealers

The Vitorians The Dealers They present with images one of the songs included in their second album “Tabula Rasa”published in November last year with the new label Record BootsH-RECORD SUBSEL.

Today we premiere the “In my carousel” video clip, the fifteenth song included in the second album of the Garage Beat and R&B quartet The Dealers. The LP “Tabula rasa”produced by the band and Javi Vicente Aka Carasueño, saw the light on November 15 with the new seal Record BootsSubsel of H-RECORDS, and included 16 songs that brought a step forward in its evolution, looking for more contemporary arrangements and sounds, leaving a bit of the typical garage sound of the sixties. Therefore, they mixed it and fixed with Javi Carasueño. The band wanted to make an album that maintained its influences but without trying to look like a album of the sixties.

THE MULTIPREMED ARTIST AND MANAGEMENT Jorge Moneo Quintana He has been the author of the video clip, performing the piece through an experimental animation work and through the hybridization of images produced by digital photography techniques as photo-chemical. Thus, each small movement of a flower that opens or from another that withers is a unique frame, within a sequencing of 25 frames per second. However, it has not been persecuted to recreate the feeling of reality in the movement of objects, but even sometimes generate repetitions and underline images or gestures, such as images that are sometimes repeated persistently in our head, returning again and again. In addition to the images created by digital photography, he decided to include a series of photo-chemical images that also express that idea of duality between light and dark, black and white, and also its reversibility. These images are composed of spiny stems and are produced through the Rayogram technique, an old camera without camera with which they already experienced among other Man Ray, Moholy-Nagy or Picasso. Those images show the dark silhouette of the plant on a light background and then turn white and move the background to be dark. That is, they work through the alternation of positive and negative. As Jorge points out, “for me, ‘In my carousel’ it is the most experimental track of the album, so I quickly decided on her, as if it were a crush. While being a rock song, it contains experimental elements that express affinity with my way of working and my aesthetic imaginary.”

The Dealers They are back on the road, with new material under the arm and a live as frantic and energetic as ever. With the original formation, which launched its first single in that distant April 2012, more than 15 years of trajectory signed by 7 “, in addition to the LP “Serendipic Breakfast” In 2015 and EP “TURNING UPSIDE DOWN” In 2017. And of course, they continue to present their latest work “Tabula rasa”cooking over low heat, mixing classic and modern ingredients of its generous pantry, full of sixties r’n’b, garage punk, psychedelia and Freakbeat spicy with folk folk, pop-suike, British invasion or spanish groovies touches.

The next concert of the Gasteiztarra band will be the Thursday, June 26, at 7:30 p.m., in Falleina Taberna de Vitoria-Gasteiz.
