The xx have announced their return to the stage, eight years after their last tour to present their latest album “I See You”. We already knew that they will perform at Primavera Sound, but now we know what the date of their first concert will be.
The London trio announced that they were returning this year with their first concerts together since 2018. Their first performances scheduled for 2026 are in Coachella on April 10 and 17in addition to various festivals such as Primavera Sound Barcelona and Porto, Open’er, Rock Werchter and more.
Now, the band has revealed that They will return to the stage the week before Coachella. They shared on social networks that their “first concert in a long time” will take place on Saturday April 4. For now, they have simply shared a link where you can register, although the full information will arrive today.
All members of The xx have undertaken solo projects since their last album. The second full length Jamie xx“In Waves”, arrived in 2024. The solo debut of Romy“Mid Air“, arrived in 2023. And in 2022, Oliver Sim released his first solo album, “Hideous Bastard“. As a band, they re-released their debut album “xx” at the end of last year with covers and extra songs.
