The Spanish Wave has opened a call to participate in the Reeperbahn Festival (Hamburg)one of the most important events for the music industry in Germany.
Last year, The Spanish Wave – in collaboration with the SAGE Foundation and AIE – brought four Spanish-speaking artists – not just Spanish – to the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg to participate with their showcases in front of fans, professionals and the media.
Now the new edition of the festival arrives. Of the September 16-19, 2026 Reeperbahn Festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary as the benchmark event for the music industry with a commitment to diversity, sustainability and gender equality. In these four days of September, the Reeperbahn neighborhood in Hamburg will once again be the center of the international music scene to discover the latest music, create alliances, business and expand your musical horizons in career and inspiration.
So, for this celebration, the classic official reception “Meet The Spaniards” could not be missed, which introduces the artists, delegates and professionals of the Spanish music industry, prior to the showcases of the artists who are chosen this year to perform in Hamburg. Reeperbahn Festival is a catalyst for cultural exchange, music industry experts share their knowledge on music, media, culture and politics as well as diversity and inclusion in live music as well as sustainability.
The Spanish Wave is a project for the internationalization of Spanish talent that aims to help in the export of emerging artists and bands from our country, participating with “showcases” in the most important fairs, festivals and musical events in the world, with the presence of professionals from the national and international industry. It works closely with booking agencies, record labels, both national and international promoters, as well as with partners such as AIE, the SGAE Foundation, Instituto Cervantes, Live Nation Spain, Ticketmaster Spain, Mondo Sonoro and Radio 3.
