The Bunker fair celebrates its third edition in Barakaldo

Bunker returns from October 24 to 26 at the Herriko Plaza in Barakaldo, consolidating itself as a meeting space between the public, artists, publishers and record stores.

Come back in a couple of weeks Bunkerthe free fair around music, promoted by the Barakaldo City Council within the project Hiriko Soinuakre-exploring the link between music and emotions.

After the success of its first two editions, Bunker presents an area of ​​stands, selling records, books and collectibles, as well as an extensive program of talks and concerts. Among the notable activities, the musician Fernando Alfaro will present his novel “Mundo turbio”, while journalist Javier Corral “Jerry” will present “Fiesta y rebellion”, a review of the mythical “Basque Radical Rock” movement. There will also be conversations with Repeat offenders, Biznaga, Bala and Sandré, moderated by Iker Bárbara (responsible for Zarata, our Euskadi, Navarra and La Rioja edition of MondoSonoro), before their performances at the Hiriko Soinuak festival, located a few meters from the venue.

The fair will include acoustic performances by Gonzalo Portugal (Last Fair Deal) and Gaizka Insunza (Audience), whose concert will also serve as a tribute to the recently deceased Jon Gondra, former coordinator of Bunker and Hiriko Soinuak. The program is completed by an art-therapy workshop led by Paule Bilbao for the students of the Bituritxa Institute, and the large area of ​​stands mentioned above with shops and publishers such as Long Play, street kids, Meatzalde Beats, Munsterama, Re-Loop Shop, Vinylora, Katakrak and Geek’s Handwhich will offer records, clothing, books and collectibles related to music and popular culture.
