Sugar have announced a tour to celebrate their return to the stage, while releasing a new song, “Long Live Love.” Remember that here we can see them in the Azkena Rock Festival.
Last fall, Sugar announced that they would reunite for only two concerts in London and New York in May 2026. With those performances already sold out, Sugar have revealed the dates of their comeback tour, the first in more than thirty years. He “Love You Even Still 2026 World Tour” will take the group on a tour Europe and North America. In our country, they will play the June 19 in it Azkena Rock Festival of Vitoria-Gazteiz. Accompanying the tour announcement comes the release of “Long Live Love” along with a music video directed by Lee Gregory.
Bob Mold wrote “Long Live Love” in 2007when I lived in Washington D.C. during the era of George W. Bush. He explains: “I was very into my world as a DJ with Blowoff, but I was still writing pop songs with guitars.” He adds: “Garbage 2.0 is one of my desert island albums, so it’s no surprise that ‘Long Live Love’ reminds me of a lost Garbage song.”
This new single will be released alongside “House of Dead Memories” in a vinyl edition on May 1 through BMG. Likewise, these are the band’s first releases in thirty years, after “File Under: Easy Listening” (1994). Mold formed the alt-rock band after the dissolution of Hüsker Dü. After separating 1995, Sugar They met briefly to celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2011but Mold He quickly returned to his solo career, with his album “Here We Go Crazy” (25) as the most recent work.
