Sergio Ramos wants to get a Bernabéu

Taylor Swift, Karol G … and Sergio Ramos. In a new interview with Efe, the Spanish footballer has made it clear to everyone that his new musical adventures are not “a whim” and advances that he would love to announce a concert at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

The launch of ‘Cibeles’, dedicated to Real Madrid, has filled meme networks during the last two weeks. No one expected this from Sergio Ramos, although we did know he was a music lover. His ambitions, in addition, are deeper than we thought: “Hopefully tomorrow I have the opportunity to announce a Bernabéu, which would be the host, but you have to go step by step.”

Ramos has also approached the shock that meant his new musical career for his near circle: «At first, they call you crazy. The people in my environment told me: ‘Go, dedicate yourself to football’. When we locked ourselves in the study and the project began to take volume … Be careful with this bastard that when you get, it puts on, ”says the footballer. “NO, I don’t have discipline for everything,” says Ramos, as if nothing else is missing.

For all of them who doubt the musical passion of Sevillian, he swears that for him “it is a way of living” that “always accompanies him”, naming among his references to Alejandro Sanz, Juan Luis Guerra and Marc Anthony. At the same time, he also feels represented by the new trends: “Calle, neighborhood, I see myself more in that current music of the trap, of the reggaeton, which is where we think my music should be.” This is seen in ‘Cibeles’, a full -fledged reggaeton: “We did it with that intention, that we were taken seriously.”

Ramos ends the interview with the exclusive of his next single, which will be a collaboration with Carín León. He would leave at Christmas and, of course, he will have influences from Mexican regional music: «When Carín came to sing to Madrid we were at home eating and listened to everything he had. That theme is the one he liked, inspired by Mexican instruments, ”concludes the player.
