Sean Frutos (Second) returns solo with “I Would Do It Again”

After more than two years of voluntary silence, Sean Fruitswho was the singer of the band Second for more than twenty-five years, he returns to the present time alone with “Lo Volvería a Hace”:

He spent more than twenty-five years at the helm of Second, an essential group on the Murcian scene that combined a stage in English with another in Spanish. Now Sean Frutos, once the band dissolved, has returned to activity to star in a solo career not from nostalgia, but from a deeper place. In fact, the artist has waited to consider that he had something to say, to say it. “If I sing it’s because it has to hurt,” he comments on the matter.

“I would do it again” is a luminous invitation to embrace every step we take, even when we make mistakes. It talks about repentance and transforms it into our path, into our destiny. If we are who we are, it is because of the path we have taken through the decisions we have made.

With live drums, pianos and synthesizers that create atmospheres full of emotion, and guitars that also seek to excite, the song is produced by Jorge Guirao (guitarist of Second) and Sean Frutos himself. Engraved in Kid-A Studioswith the also singer Madbel on piano and synthesizers, and Jorge Guirao on guitars and bass. Batteries by Pablo Roda in El Palast. Mixed by Lalo Gómez-Vizcaíno and mastered by Ruslan Slatin.
