Rusowsky has launched one of the most unique projects of the year and with which he officially begins his conquest on the other side of the Atlantic. ‘Daisy’ serves at the same time as a love letter to Latin music in the early 2000s and as a revitalization of the same passed by the eclectic Russia-IDK filter. ‘Malibu’ is the song of the day.
‘Malibu’ was not chosen as a single, but it could be the alternative song of summer par excellence. In it, the Madrid artist builds the perfect balance between experimentation and club sensitivity. The keys to the electrolatin are interrupted by a fragmented accordion while Rusowsky sings to his love and his “stylito Malibu”: “I wanted to keep, all my caresses / my girl, where you are.”
When the theme seemed another ethereal pop work by Rusowsky, it becomes unexpectedly into a summer bop to the merengue rhythm. This part is full of phrases as simple as effective (“She is my Tatiana, she is my Daisy / she is my world, she is my baby”), reference even past songs: “And I give her kisses if she cries myself / how beautiful my cat is.”
In an interview with the American media Pigeons & Plans, Rusowsky discusses his love for Latin music, which he describes as the “most makes me feel”, and the ease of discovering new sounds today: “Now I can reach any type of Siberian folk, but the lack of real physical elements and the overload of information and easy access is so great that these discoveries are less special.”
Jenesaispop will witness and a half official of his debut at the Movistar Arena, which will be held on September 25. Tickets already available from 28 euros. 80% of the capacity on the track is already sold, as Rusowsky warns in its Instagram stories.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrgtetyre8m
