Rush’s European tour runs out of Spanish dates again

Rush have announced that they will take their tour “Fifty Something” to Europe and South America in 2027. At the moment, there are no Spanish dates.

The Canadian band announced at the end of last year that in 2026 they would return to the stage with “Fifty Something Tour“, the tour celebrating the group’s 50th anniversary. The dates initially planned were for the United States, Canada and Mexico. Well, now they have announced through their social networks that they will also tour Europe and South America in 2027.

So far, it has been confirmed 24 concerts in 13 countriesand Spain is not on the list. Still, this marks the first time the band has played in Europe since 2013, and 17 years after their visit to South America. Joining Lee and Lifeson will be the German drummer, composer and producer Anika Nilleswho has been Jeff Beck’s drummer and has released four solo albums. They will also be joined by The Who’s keyboardist, Loren Gold. The dates begin in Buenos Aires in January and continue with stops in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and elsewhere, before heading to Europe the following month. These concerts include stops at Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and other places in February, before four dates in the United Kingdom in March.

Rush He last performed on a farewell tour in 2015, with thirty-five concerts across the United States. Neil Peartthe band’s composer and drummer, died in 2020 due to brain cancer.
