Rufus T. Firefly, winners of the XI Ruido Award

Rufus T. Firefly they have won the Noise Awardawarded by the music press, to the best Spanish album of the year for “All good things”his album released last year.

The band has been awarded the Ruido Award for Best Spanish Album of the Year by “All good things“, his last full-length. The ceremony, held yesterday March 12 in the Berlanga Room in Madridfeatured a performance by the winners, who performed “Song of Peace” alongside Repionalthough without the presence of drummer Julia Martín-Maestro, who could not attend. This is the 11th edition of the awards given by music critics.

The complete list of nominees was Amaia with “If I open my eyes it’s not real”; Carlos Ares with “The mouth of the wolf”; Open Front with “War on all that”; FUET! with “Make It Happen”; Guitarricadelafuente with “Spanish Leather”, Pumuky with “Don’t let go of the ephemeral”; Repion with “201”, Rosalia with “Lux”, rusowski with “DAISY”; shego with “I won’t do it again” and Valeria Castro with “the body after all”. Finally, it was the band from Madrid who took the award.

Víctor Cabezuelo and Julia Martín-Maestro front Rufus T. Firefly, an indie band that began their career in 2011, who have also recently been awarded the AUPA recognition! 2025 in the category Record Project. Now, they are immersed in a tour presenting their latest work, which started in September and will end on Next April 11, 2026 with a special concert in La Riviera (Madrid).
