Rosalía begins the ‘LUX’ tour: videos, setlist and spoilers

Rosalia has presented the first show of the ‘LUX’ tour in Lyon, France, and the networks have been filled with all the details related to the show. All doubts related to the speculated maximalism of the tour, the song list and Rosalía’s stage presence have now been cleared up. Spoilers ahead.

Previously, we had seen the artist perform ‘Berghain’, ‘Reliquia’ and ‘La Perla’ in different spaces. Now we are sure that we will be able to hear almost all the songs from ‘LUX’, except for ‘Memoria’ and ‘Mundo Nuevo’, on the tour. These have been interspersed on this first date with songs from ‘MOTOMAMI’ such as ‘SAOKO’, sung with a Marie Antoinette wig, or ‘CUUUUuuuuuute’, with what the networks have described as a giant “botafumeiro”.

One of the biggest surprises has been the absence of ‘El Mal Querer’, with no song from the album being included in the show, although this could change during the following dates. However, Rosalía has rescued ‘El Redentor’, a song included on her first album, ‘Los Ángeles’. ‘DESPECHÁ’ and a cover of ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’, also present.

The concert began with the artist emerging from a giant box and wearing a pink tutu and ballet slippers. We can see her dancing during ‘Porcelana’, letting her voice shine in ‘Mio Cristo Piange Diamanti’ or, of course, taking us to the Berlin night with the techno remix of ‘Berghain’, which is also included in the tour. The religious element of the album is also present on stage, of course. The best in this sense? The confessional of ‘La Perla’.

Rosalía will arrive in Spain with the ‘LUX’ tour on March 30, where she will offer four consecutive concerts at the Movistar Arena in Madrid. After passing through Portugal, he will return to the peninsula to perform at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona on April 13, 15, 17 and 18.
