Registration is open to participate in the Rock Villa de Madrid Awards

You can now register for the XLVI Rock Villa de Madrid Awards. The call is open until next Friday, March 27so you should hurry if you want to have the option of having your project selected.

Until March 27, registration will be open at the official awards pagewhich this year recover their original format with five finalist artists competing for victory live during the San Isidro Festival. Interested groups and soloists can now consult the rules of the call and register to be one of the winners of the contest, which this year reaches its forty-sixth edition.

The awards have the collaboration of Radio 3 and the Society of Artists, Interpreters and Performers of Spain (AIE)and the contest is aimed at musicians and groups of any gender and age, born or residing in Spain, the contest focuses on diversity and the promotion of young, female and Madrid talent. As every year, the performances of the finalists and the awards ceremony will be broadcast on Radio 3.

In this edition, the awards recover their original format. After the hiatus that began with the pandemic, the contest regains its most competitive essence on May 15 in the Vistillas gardens, where the five finalists selected by a specialized jury will compete for cash prizes and other recognitions sponsored by the collaborating entities: Radio 3 and the Society of Artists, Interpreters and Performers (AIE).

The Madrid City Council maintains the endowment of 11,000 euros in cash prizes: 6,000 for the first prize, 3,000 for the second, 1,000 for the third and two second prizes of 500 euros. In addition, participating artists will be eligible for two other awards granted by collaborating entities: the Generation Y-Radio 3 Award. which will allow the selected artist or group to record a performance in Radio 3 Concerts and the AIE Award for Best Performerwhich will offer the artist or group chosen by AIE participation in the first cycle of AIEnRuta Artistas 2027.
