Ed O’Brienmember of Radiohead, has announced in British media the band’s plans to return to the stage in 2027.
As explained, the group will offer twenty concerts a year on a different continent, a strategy that seeks to maintain the intensity of each show. “No more, no less,” said the musician.
The band will not perform concerts in 2026. Instead, they will focus on their own projects such as O’Brien, who will be presenting his second album outside of Radiohead, “Blue Morpho”which will be released on May 22. As for the group, it is expected that they will resume activity in 2027 after their recent return to the stage. In 2025, Radiohead offered a series of concerts in Europe, their first live shows since 2018, with four performances at The O2 Arena (London) and four also in the city of Madrid.
O’Brien explained that the goal is to avoid overly extensive tours and ensure that each concert maintains a high standard: “We want to give it our all every night,” he said. Also recognizing the passage of time in the band.
