Radiohead launched LP of live recordings of ‘Hail to the Thief’

Radiohead just launched, by surprise, a live album of the songs of the album ‘Hail to the Thief. The album includes recordings that have taken place between 2003, year of departure from the disc, and 2009, at the end of the ‘in Rainbows’ tour.

In a statement in networks, the group explains how this unexpected launch arose: “In the process of thinking how to build the theater production arrangements of ‘Hail To The Thief’, I asked to listen to some live recordings of the songs,” says Yorke in an Instagram post.

«I was surprised by the energy in the way we played and helped me find a way forward. For us, at that time, finishing this album was particularly complicated and tense. We were very proud of him but left us with a bad taste in his mouth. They were dark times for many reasons, ”says Yorke, before ensuring that it has been a” very cathartic “process.

This is the first official activity of the British band since the formation of a new limited liability company under the name of Rheuk25, which, in the past, has meant the departure of a new album or a new tour.
