The Murcian band Le Mur presents porn the second preview of his next Ep Rough (March 25, Spinda Records) with a song that focuses on the social and aesthetic pressure that pushes women towards unattainable standards. More raw and direct than ever, the quartet turns discomfort into speech and sonic tension.
porn was born as a direct reflection on the social and aesthetic pressure that pushes women to meet unattainable beauty standards. The band explains it bluntly: “We wanted to talk about that constant pressure to fit into an impossible mold. About that feeling of living inside a glass cage that narrows every day without you almost realizing it.” The metaphor of the cage runs through the entire song, becoming the conceptual and emotional axis of the song.
At the sound level, Le Mur It once again moves between metal and post-rock, but incorporates new vocal nuances close to hip-hop and spoken word. The structure of the theme is designed so that discomfort is not just an idea, but a physical experience. “The song grows in intensity because we needed the body to feel the same as the lyrics say: discomfort, anger and, finally, breakup”they point out. This progression translates into a cumulative tension that ends up exploding in a liberating climax.
The launch comes accompanied by a video clip recorded and edited by Willy Palazón (Radikal Libre) in October 2025. In it, the singer appears trapped in a glass structure that is progressively shrinking, visualizing that aesthetic pressure that becomes increasingly oppressive. As the rhythm intensifies, the space narrows until the glass ends up breaking, reinforcing the idea of rupture that runs through the song.
With pornLe Mur does not play with the title as an empty provocation. He uses it as an uncomfortable mirror. If this second preview sets the tone, Rough It is emerging as a work willing to bother, stir and break molds without asking permission.
